The Ultimate Travel Bucket List

Really, I just want to go everywhere and anywhere.  One of my favorite quotes is, “I want to leave everywhere I go even though I know there is nowhere better.”  But at the start of this year, I thought I’d make my  travel bucket list, and narrow it down to some of the top destinations that I want to travel to, so I can start planning.  I hope that my travel bucket list inspires you to go somewhere new.

My travel bucket list:

1.   Walk the hills of Ireland

I am pretty sure that I am part fairy, and something tells me that I will fit right in there. I love to hike, and I can’t imagine better hiking then in Ireland.

2.  Itacoatiara beach in Brazil

This beach is off the beaten tourist path and looks beautiful.  I have a desire to see the hidden Brazil that most tourists don’t visit.

3.  The hammans (baths) and spice markets of Morocco

When I think of Morocco, I think of the exotic, the unexplored.  I imagine the smells, the colors, and everything that appeals to the senses.  When I first read of the ritual of the hamman, I knew this was something I had to experience.  I also love spices and can’t wait to explore the markets.

4. The Galapagos Islands

I love nature and wildlife, and I can’t think of a better way to experience the two in the same place.  I also can’t think of a better place to snorkel and experience the multi-colored beaches. My biggest dream is to visit the Galapagos Islands by sailboat. It’s a long and potentially hazardous trip so make sure to stock up on some quality life jackets from a decent yacht chandlers then off you go!

5.  See the Northern Lights from Iceland

I can’t even imagine the awe that I would feel getting to see the Northern Lights in person. I’m not a fan of the cold, but with all the hot springs that Iceland has to warm you up, I think I would actually enjoy being there.
